IOSFS CONVENTION 2025
Orff Institute Salzburg
(in-person and online)

The Voice: Communicating, Creating, Connecting

July 14th - 17th 2025

Orff Institute, Salzburg

(in-person and online)

ABOUT THE EVENT

Registration
Opens
1st June 2025

The 2025 Convention brings together practitioners and researchers who will present contributions relating to the voice: the singing voice, the rhythmic voice, the poetic voice,  and the individual voice - all reflected in the Orff-Schulwerk approach.

Keynotes, presentations, examples from associated schools and institutions, and sessions sharing practical activities will reflect the theme in varied ways. These will include pedagogical frameworks that foster student’s creative input and agency.

The convention also offers attendees spaces to share ideas and experiences with one another.

How are we challenged to develop vocal possibilities and both individual and collective voices?

How can an environment be shaped in which voices of all participants can thrive?

How can an Orff-Schulwerk approach ensure that everyone has a voice?
